Japanese Search engine market is mainly shared by “Yahoo! Japan” and “Google Japan”. “Infoseek” owned by “Rakuten” used to deliver their original search engine service until June 2007. However, now it is also covered by Google search. The most of smaller portal or Search engine service sites are powered or supported by those two main search engines in Japan. However, like Baidu (baidu.jp), it has just officially entered as original search engine service in Japanese market.

There is nothing that is special with the japanese search engines and i completely prefer to use Google Japan .I just want to know how do these search engines optimize in japanese?
