VACANCY: BID FLUENCY ASIA – Team Leader Web Certain are looking for an experienced professional to work within their multilingual Paid Search campaign team, managing the ‘Bid Fluency Asia’ team. The purpose of the role is to be involved in all aspects of paid search campaigns (search engine data, campaign bids, data input). This will include:- o Interpreting and understanding client needs and translating into campaign requirements o Interpreting and understanding campaign data o Adjusting keywords, based on tracking data from campaign o Planning and implementing advertising campaigns o Design & develop training materials and deliver in-house workshops o Collecting data online for preparation of client reports o Researching market trends and competitors’ activities o Planning PPC campaigns o Managing the Asian Paid Search Team o Developing and training team competencies o Inducting new team members o Setting and managing team workloads and deadlines o Implement campaign/bidding strategies o Working with account management team to implement campaigns and achieve agreed results o Working with Finance/Accounts to ensure business cash-flow is maintained o Deliver Training sessions for clients on internal systems and processes as necessary o Planning and managing multiple client budgets across search engines o Reviewing, Mapping and Optimising internal processes Key Skills: Essential: • Good awareness of search engines • Have an eye for good web-design concepts • Ability to co-ordinate a wide range of tasks within their project scope • Intermediate experience of MS Word, Excel • Basic knowledge of PowerPoint • Strong numeracy skills • Capable of working independently and as part of the project team • Prioritising between projects • Ability to manage own workload under pressure • Sharing research/findings and training other team members • Develop processes to reach business goals more effectively • Strong research mindset • Capable of hands on problem-solving, with ability to generate ideas and solutions • Passion for all things web • Knowledge of search engine marketing techniques • Invoicing experience • Experience of implementing and managing Google Adwords, Yahoo Search Marketing, MSN Adcenter, Bai Du PPC, Yandex Direct • Native Chinese or Korean – Simplified character set • Fluent English spoken and written • Posses Google Adwords Professional 2008 qualification • Good awareness of usability topics Desirable: • basic knowledge of HTML • basic knowledge of Search Engines Optimisation Techniques • intermediate knowledge of javascript tracking systems This role requires a good team player who is self motivated, and has excellent analytical and technical skills. Well organised, the successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail, and experience of manipulating data within excel. Good communication skills and the ability to prioritise ever changing workloads is essential. A marketing background would be preferred. Excellent written and oral English skills are essential for this role. You must have a desire to develop a career within a growing company as well as a desire and ability to work within a multicultural environment (respecting cultural differences). Salary c£19,000 per annum |
