Can someone please remind how Baidu identifies their sponsored links - and how many it's possible to have in the left hand side listing before true organic results appear?

I just tried to search from Baidu, and found there are no restriction about the number of paid search results per page in the left side of the search result.

All the organic result will be shown after paid listing. Its quite different than Google result page.

Paid search result is recognized by the '推广‘, in English word is 'promotion'.

Amy, I know there are different programmes covering the advertising on the right hand side - when you have a moment could you give some rough details of the different schemes.

You can check for Sponsor Listing by checking via the Baidu's PPC (jinjia) site, enter the search keywords, you can see how competitive the sponsor listing are...
