It may happen in future as advertisers are wishing to gain more control of where there advertisement is shown. This was highlighted in the recent Facebook/BNP controversy.

Unfortunately Andy, my stats are reporting that ad link as the referring URL and not the site it came from.

I have switched off my ad campaign and clicked on the link and it still works, so I am presuming it does not take anything out of your budget.
